Finacial Literacy

Students will work with Susan L. Karsch, CRPC®, Financial Advisor and learn all of the financial basics to provide them with the foundational knowledge about budgeting, investing, and more. Some of the questions students will learn about include:

• Money: where it comes from, where it’s spent, and how it’s saved.

• How to generate, invest, spend, and save money.

• Employment income, taxes, and typical living expenses.

• How does a checking account work? What using a credit card means and how to avoid debt

• Budgeting tips and tricks

• Investment exercises including building a stock portfolio, with a competition and prizes

The main goal is to be able to use your money to do the things you truly want to do!

Course includes two 90-minute sessions and a follow-up Zoom for the competition ($90)
